EC Fans

Crafted with precision engineering, Y.S. Tech‘s EC Fans utilize advanced electronically commutated motor technology, delivering unparalleled performance in backward centrifugal airflow. These blowers are designed for applications demanding high efficiency, reliability, and precise control over airflow and pressure.

EC fans, or Electronically Commutated fans, represent a technologically advanced and energy-efficient category of fans widely used for various cooling and ventilation applications. Unlike traditional AC fans, EC fans use advanced electronic control to precisely regulate the motor operation, resulting in improved efficiency, controllability, and reduced energy consumption.

Backward Centrifugal and Forward Certifugal EC Fans

EC fans can be classified into two main types based on the direction of airflow they generate: backward-curved (also known as backward centrifugal) EC fans and forward-curved (also known as forward centrifugal) EC fans. These designations refer to the curvature of the fan blades and the resulting direction of airflow. In backward-curved EC fans, the blades curve away from the direction of rotation. This design is characterized by larger, curved blades that resemble a shallow bowl or scoop. In forward-curved EC fans, the blades curve in the direction of rotation, resembling a hamster wheel. These fans typically have more numerous and smaller blades compared to backward-curved fans.
