Temperature Sensors & Probes
These enhanced and responsive sensors are often ideal for air-gas, liquid-immersion, and solid-surface temperature sensing. Honeywell’s temperature probes are offered in a variety of housing materials and styles, terminations and R-T curve types, depending on the customers’ application needs.
Honeywell’s packaged temperature probe assemblies may incorporate NTC (negative temperature coefficient), KTY (silicon-based positive temperature coefficient,) or RTD (resistance temperature detector) output types.
They operate under a wide range of environmental conditions, for exampe:
- an air temperature sensor rated to MIL-PRF-23648 used to measure aircraft engine bleed air temperature inside the leading edge of an aircraft wing
- an IP67 seal-rated oil temperature sensor used in the engine of a heavy duty vehicle
- a surface temperature sensor used to monitor critical compressor temperatures in a transport refrigeration system
T/T10X

The T/T10X Series of temperature sensors are designed to meet customer specific applications. They are available in a selection of body styles and connector configurations with various thermistors.
This range of products has been designed and engineered to be rugged and durable, and capable of extensive service in demanding environments. The T/T10X Series can withstand significant levels of vibration, shock, temperature, and humidity.
500 Series
Temperature Probes | Honeywell
The 500 Series air/gas, liquid and surface temperature probes use Honeywell’s NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) thermistors.
These small, easy to install probe assemblies support and position the thermistor elements within the media to be monitored as well as protect the thermistors against damage in use or handling. The assemblies also help direct thermal or fluid flow evenly across the thermistors for accurate temperature sensing.
The wide operating temperature range is -60 °C to 300 °C provides application flexibility.
6655 Series
On-Surface Temperature Sensors | Honeywell
The 6655 Series On-Surface Temperature Sensors are lower cost, thermistor-based temperature sensors that use compact, low-profile, 12,70 mm thermostat package. They’re designed to offer temperature measurements on most flat surfaces and pipes in non-condensing applications.
These thermistor-based NTC (Negative Temperature Coefficient) devices allows greater flexibility in temperature monitoring and controlling. Tight interchangeability eliminates or reduces customer need for calibration. A wide operating temperature range of -20 °C to 110 °C .
ES110 / ES120 Series
Packaged Temperature Probes with Integral Connectors | Honeywell
Inflow thermistor-based sensors specifically designed for use in the transportation industry. Thermistors can be very effective in sensing temperatures of gases, liquids or solids because of their enhanced sensitivity, accuracy and reliability.
Robust and easy-to-install threaded packaging often provides reliable operation in harsh application environments. Operating temperature range of -40 °C to 150 °C [-40 °F to 302 °F]
R300 Series
Temperature Sensor | Honeywell
The R300 Series is a passive RTD high temperature probe. This product features a robust, stainless-steel closed-tip design that enhances reliability in aggressive environments, while still providing excellent response time.
This one-piece sensor with integral connector was designed for use in heavy duty vehicle engine EGR (Exhaust Gas Recirculation) systems where temperature excursions to 300 °C can occur.
